MGB was asked by CPR Global Tech to handle all the media relations around the launch of its latest nuisance call blocker.
We immediately conducted a UK-wide survey to reveal the most prolific types of nuisance calls bothering people and then engaged with consumer champion, Alice Beer, to become our campaign spokesperson encouraging people to take action against nuisance callers. As well as providing a good national news angle, the survey data also allowed us to regionalise the results for further regional coverage throughout the UK.
Our launch activity resulted in 15 broadcast interviews including a long feature with Alice Beer on Sky Sunrise. We placed 110 articles in national and regional online and print publications including the likes of The Independent, Daily Mail, Daily Star, Scotsman and Good Housekeeping. The launch was the start of an on-going relationship with CPR which most recently saw us assist them in winning the highly coveted Queen’s Award for Enterprise, the UK’s highest business accolade.
